Basil Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine: Discover Flavorful Vietnamese Dishes in Everett

The owner Ken came up and spoke to my Mom and I, and this was her first time eating at Basil, as well as mine. She ordered #22 Pork and Shrimp w/ vermicelli noodles And I ordered the large pho. It was fantastic and the service was excellent. All the staff are friendly and greet you and treat you with a smile on their face. The owner Ken is very personable and accommodating. Definitely recommend

Went in for lunch, so they were busy took a while to get our order. Spring rolls were small not enough noodles in my opinion. Chicken was kind of dry. Appetizers id rate a 2 out of 5. The bowl of pho made up for it, the flavor of the broth was really good. Next time I would skip the Appetizers and just order the pho.

We've eaten here a few times now. First of all--delicious pho. And I LOVE the pork bahn mi! Always just right. My husband tried something new he wasn't too fond of (it had pate, which just isn't his cup of tea) and the restaurant not only refused to charge us for the sandwich; they insisted we take a replacement sandwich for free because they wanyed us to have a nice valentine's day. Very, very kind and obliging!! We have already sought out this restaurant more than once and we will definitely be back for our next bahn mi/pho fix!! Wonderful customer service.

I’ve been coming here since they opened and have visited more than ten times. The food has been hit or miss in the past, but my most recent visit was by far the best. The banh mi was generously packed with meat and veggies, and the vermicelli bowl was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. They’re also very accommodating for families with young children. My vermicelli bowl would’ve been almost perfect with a little more noodles. I always have to order extra noodles. I also took off a star for atmosphere because we were seated right next to the door, so it was really breezy, and there were a lot of people waiting for a table right beside us. If you’ve had mixed experiences before, I’d suggest trying them again. Based on my last visit, they’ve really stepped it up.

We went for pho and ribs and they were fine, but not amazing. The pho broth needed a lot more depth. That said, it was certainly a large portion for just the "regular" size. The ribs were very tender and tasty but quite fatty. Fat equals flavor and normally not an issue but these were much fattier than desirable. The shrimp tempura were not great -- nice flavor but very greasy and thick batter... not as good as tempura I've had elsewhere. The customer service was great though and the Thai iced coffee was fantastic. The restaurant was packed so I may be missing something, but probably won't be back to this one since there are other good Vietnamese places around.

Went to Basil Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine for the first time. Their Banh Mi selections are delicious especially their Pork Banh Mi! I also ordered their Shrimp/Pork Roll Spring Rolls. Very delicious and fresh tasting!!! The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy! Also, outstanding customer service!!! Highly recommended!!! Love love love it !!! I am definitely coming back to try other dishes such as their pho soup and their vermicelli bowls!!!!

A solid vegan-friendly spot. I ordered the large veggie pho ($17.95 + tax). The food was good, though I found the flavor a bit mild compared to other Vietnamese restaurants I’ve visited. For the price, I also expected a slightly more generous portion for a 'large' size. The dining area is clean and has a nice ambiance, but the back of the house—specifically the walkway and the restrooms—could definitely use more attention to cleanliness and organization. Overall, a decent experience, but a bit pricey for the value.
